Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets rules for using Genetr Limited’s (“Genetr”, “we”, “us”) products and services (the “Services”). It is designed to protect users, Genetr Limited, and third parties.
By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your access.
You must comply with:
- this AUP,
- our Terms of Use,
- our Subscription Terms (where applicable), and
- applicable laws and regulations.
1. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Services to:
1.1 Break the law or violate rights
- Violate any law, regulation, or court order.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
- Facilitate illegal activities or transactions.
- Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes.
- Evade or circumvent applicable sanctions, export controls, or trade restrictions.
1.2 Harm others or the platform
- Distribute malware, ransomware, or other harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data.
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Services (including through denial-of-service attacks).
- Circumvent security or access controls.
1.3 Abuse, harassment, or unsafe conduct
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others.
- Share content that is unlawfully hateful, violent, or exploitative.
- Engage in doxxing or unlawful surveillance.
- Encourage self-harm or violence.
1.4 Misuse data
- Collect or harvest personal information without lawful basis and appropriate notices/consents.
- Use the Services to process sensitive personal data in ways that violate applicable law or your obligations to data subjects.
- Re-identify anonymized data or attempt to do so.
1.5 Mislead or deceive
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
- Use the Services for fraud, phishing, or social engineering.
- Generate or distribute deceptive content intended to mislead (including fake endorsements, fake identity documents, or fabricated evidence).
1.6 Abuse usage limits or access
- Bypass rate limits, quotas, paywalls, or usage restrictions.
- Share access credentials in a way that violates your plan terms (e.g., seat limits).
- Use automated scraping or bulk extraction of the Services except where expressly permitted.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Services without our written consent.
2. AI/ML and Intelligent Feature Guidelines (Where Applicable)
If the Services include intelligent features (including AI/ML):
- You are responsible for ensuring inputs you provide are lawful and that you have the rights to use them.
- Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You must not rely on outputs as professional advice or as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.
- You must not use outputs to violate this AUP (e.g., fraud, harassment, unlawful surveillance, or infringement).
- You must not use AI features to generate content that is misleading, deceptive, or designed to impersonate real individuals without their consent.
- You must not use AI features to produce content that violates applicable law, including content that discriminates on the basis of protected characteristics.
- You must not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the underlying models or algorithms.
- You must not circumvent usage limits, content filters, or safety mechanisms built into AI features.
- You must not use AI-generated outputs in a manner that could cause harm to individuals or the public without appropriate human review and oversight.
- You must follow any product-specific usage rules disclosed in the interface or documentation.
3. Your Content
- You are responsible for all content that you upload, store, transmit, or create using our Services.
- You must have the necessary rights, licences, and permissions for any content you use with our Services.
- You must not upload content that you know or should reasonably know to be infringing, unlawful, or in violation of this AUP.
4. Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this AUP, we may:
- warn you,
- throttle or restrict access,
- suspend or terminate accounts or services,
- remove or disable access to content, and/or
- take other actions permitted by our Terms and applicable law.
We will endeavour to provide notice before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm, comply with law, or protect our infrastructure and other users.
We may also cooperate with law enforcement or respond to lawful requests.
5. Reporting Abuse
To report abuse or suspected violations, contact us at legal@genetr.com. We take reports seriously and will investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were made.
